Kodak EasyShare Z885: Review
Kodak EasyShare Z885 Review:

The Kodak EasyShare Z885 digital still camera with 8.3 megapixels offers you the ability to take clear, professional and precise pictures with the press of a button. Although you have an average size LCD screen of 2.5" this is still large enough to take and view your pictures in a high resolution format so you can easily save and delete the photos of your choice. With an added digital image stabilization feature, even if you don't have a steady hand you can still take clear pictures.

The Kodak EasyShare Z885 is a compact digital camera that can easily be stored in your purse or pocket with no problems. Its small size makes it the perfect camera to bring on travel as it will not weigh you down. With 5X optical zoom you have the ability to catch images, animals, people and nature from far distances but your pictures will be right there.

Rating:  3.6 out of 5

Quality

The Kodak EasyShare Z885 does offer internal memory but it is always a good idea for avid picture takers to invest in a SDHC, SD or MMC digital memory card to store hundreds of pictures and videos at a time. With a built in self timer you can take great pictures of yourself with a delay time of 10seconds which is more than enough time to create a family portrait. With the option to choose auto or manual focus you can take control and create unique photos in an instant.

Value

Do you love recording videos? Kodak EasyShare Z885 allows you several different video recording options that include video with sound, shooting modes and video without sound. As long as you have a memory card in your camera to store these recordings this is a great feature to have fun with. Although this camera does not take lithium rechargeable batteries, even AA NiMH batteries today can be rechargeable and this can save you a great deal of money.

The built in flash and continuous drive capabilities allow you to take up to two frames per second without having to wait for the camera to load as well as adjust the flash accordingly; the camera does the work for you. The image effects built into this camera is just like using photo editing software directly within the Kodak EasyShare Z885.
