Klipsch KSW-12 Review

The Klipsch KSW-12 subwoofer began production in 1998 and was part of the Synergy series of woofer the company produced. It continued until its production was ceased by Klipsch, but is still available through a number of retailers both online and in traditional retail channels. The KSW12 provides high quality bass audio in the 12inch subwoofer range, however, attracts some criticism due to its lack of visual appeal.

The KSW-12 gives a maximum ground shaking output of 113db for all your bass needs. Combined with its down firing driver which pumps your bass out through the floor and out to the room, you are sure to hear, and feel, the performance of this woofer. Enclosed in a black matte MDF casing, the KSW-12 has 105 watts of continuous power available to your amplifier to ensure your sound will always be of the highest quality. The speaker is available in two versions, a 110 volt or 230 volt option.

Ergonomics

It appears that the design thought that has gone into the KSW-12 was somewhat lacking, given that it resembles a large black box that could substitute as a foot stool. Similar products in the Klipsch range appear to have more sleek designs options, but lack the value provided by the KSW-12.
