If you are looking for a high-quality HDTV but don't want to pay a high price, then the 40-inch Toshiba 40RV525R 1080p LCD HDTV may be the right model for you. Although LCD prices are quickly falling, it is difficult to find a large screen full-HD model for such a great price. The picture isn't perfect, and there are a few nuisances, but overall this is an excellent entry-level HDTV. If you want a great TV for the price, then consider buying the Toshiba 40RV525R.

Without the stand, this model measures 39.2" x 3.7" x 25" - which is great for mounting in a bedroom or living room. With the stand, it measures 9.2 x 10.9 x 26.9. inches This LCD HDTV weighs approximately 39 lbs, which is average for a flat-panel LCD of this size. If you want a large-screen LCD that doesn't take too much space, the Toshiba 40RV525R is a great model to consider. Its 40 inches of glorious 1080p picture is impressive alone, but the great price is most lucrative.

This HDTV may not have the best picture on the market, but the picture and features exceed expectations compared to the price. Recently, retailers have been slashing prices of advanced models in hopes that they can clear inventory and introduce new models (LED TVs etc). As a result, consumers can now get this 40-inch 1080p HDTV for the same price a 20-inch 720p LCD cost just a few years ago. Because of the impressive price, picture, and features, this model is definitely a great value and well-worth considering.
