The A 702s feature a 3-1/2 inch mid-bass driver and a ¾ inch tweeter. The tweeter is mounted coaxially with the woofer, so the sound from both reaches your ears at the same time. The whole speaker assembly is mounted to the front of the cabinet as well as clamped to the back to minimize unwanted vibrations. The A 702s come with a wall mount bracket and there is an optional desktop stand available for them.
PerformanceThe A 702s deliver impressive performance for their small size. Frequency response is a respectable 120Hz to 20KHz, with a sensitivity rating of 86dB. Power handling is 80W continuous and 120W for short peaks and the impedance is 6 ohms. They measure a very compact 7.0 inch x 4.5 inch x 3.0 inch . The A702s do a good job of reproducing bass/midrange frequencies, and produce clear, crisp highs. ErgonomicsJamo gets high marks in this category for a couple of reasons. First is the outstanding look they have achieved with the cabinet design. And second is a unique bayonet mount that attaches the speakers to the included wall mount or the optional tabletop stand. This bayonet mount completes the audio connection, so you can move the speakers from the wall to a tabletop stereo system without disconnecting or reconnecting any cables. SummaryThese loudspeakers live up to the reputation earned by Jamo in the last few years. They feature excellent build quality, deliver solid performance, and are truly handsome. You'll pay for these features, but if your surround or compact stereo budget will handle them, they definitely deserve a close look. Pros
