FeaturesThe built-in features on the Panasonic TH-46PZ85U are reasonable. Not only does it come with the features such as picture modes, V chip, clock, off-times, closed caption, and off-timer, the TH-46PZ85 also offers several HDMI ports (high definition multimedia interface) along with a PC interface. This will allow you to hook up video game consoles, personal computers, Blue Ray disc players, digital still cameras and your camcorder. PerformanceWhile the TH-46PZ85U television does not offer manual temperature control (outside of the presets), the black-levels mask the somewhat less-than-perfect color range (was a bit disappointed in greens and skin tones). The 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080) provides an excellent in HD mode but the SD image wasn't the best available (some of the detailing wasn't as sharp). ErgonomicsWeighing 77.2 pounds (without pedestal), the 46PZ85U has a sturdy (non-swiveling) pedestal stand and a nice elegant look with the slim dimensions. This TV will fit nicely in your living room or family room (the 46-inch screen is large enough to watch enjoyable without feeling overwhelmed or having to strain to see the picture). The standard Panasonic remote is pretty decent compared to some of the competitor models that are available. SummaryThe Panasonic TH-426PZ85U will provide you with an above average picture and sound. The plasma provides a sharp-looking design with a classy finish. It performs well and offers quality and a solid reputation of a manufacturer that has made some of the best plasma TVs ever made. Pros
