The Polk Audio CS20 was created to be the anchor in your home theater sound system. The speakers are housed in a quality-crafted cabinet braced with ¾ inch baffles. This speaker comes in black or cherry, with piano black accents, so you can showcase it in your home theater room. Polk speakers are optimized using Klippel Optimization and Dynamic Balancing. This helps to create amazing sound at every volume lever.

Polk speakers are compatible with almost every brand of electronics, even the most modestly powered amplifiers and receivers. You won't have to worry about your old components working with your new speakers. The speakers will sound great. The speaker features two 6-½ inch bi-laminate composite woofers with rubber surrounds and a 1-inch bi-laminate composite silk dome tweeter. Magnetic shields help eliminate signal distortion when the speaker is placed near a video source.

Quality

Beautiful speakers that will enhance any room and the choice of colors should satisfy most customers. These speakers are designed to be seen, not to blend in. If you're looking for an unobtrusive speaker, these are not the ones for you. While some manufacturers use particle board, these use MDF (far superior). The speakers can make even the most modest receiver or video input sound great. The CS20 also has five way binding posts that are not only better quality over spring-loaded types, you also have the option to bi-wire. Inside, Polk includes Mylar bypass capacitors to increase overall quality.

Performance

You will hear great sound quality with clear and articulate high sounds from the soft silk dome tweeters while the polycarbonate drivers provide a natural flow. The sound is well balanced and extends over the entire room. You have a great deal of flexibility when placing these speakers, as they adapt and perform well wherever they're placed. The Critically Tuned Flared Ports minimze that chuffing sound sometimes heard on other ports.
