FeaturesThe Samsung LN-T1953H boasts a wide array of features for both the size and price of the television which make it a great value. The resolution is compatible with both 720p and 1080i HDTV sources and well as a high resolution PC input for added convenience. The SRS True Surround sound system is usually only found on larger, more expensive TV's and works well for smaller rooms. PerformanceUnlike other models in the Samsung line, up the LN-T1953H does not provide the same customer satisfaction as many of its competitors. The is significantly lower than comparable Toshiba, LG and Sony models. This is an ever-important feature as it directly relates to the viewing angle of the television. Although the Samsung provides optimal clarity, images look washed out and become extremely darkened when viewed from an angle. ErgonomicsSamsung's LN-T1953H is available in either a gloss-black or gloss-white (LN-T1954H) finish which can make it an appealing choice for a small room or as a secondary TV especially if you plan on wall mounting the television. The down side is that due to the poor performance of the TV, wall mounting should only be done at eye level for optimal performance otherwise you will sacrifice quality for style, proving to be less desirable. SummaryThe Samsung LN-T1953H LCD television provides a wide variety of features such as 720p and 1080i and high resolution PC compatibility but its low brightness and contrast ratios vastly under performs compared to its closest competitors.
